Who We Are

At Lake Placid Charter Co., we have a passion for airboating and sharing our unique experiences with others. Captain Matt Freeman has over 30 years of experience in boating. He and his wife, Carly, were born and raised in Florida and enjoyed all things outdoors that the sunshine state has to offer. Together they share their love of airboating throughout the Everglades and beautiful Florida lakes including Lake Istokpoga, Lake Kissimmee, and Lake Okeechobee. Now, they are raising two boys, Kaine and Brett, and sharing their outdoor adventures with them. We look forward to inviting others into our world through airboating! We guarantee you'll have a blast!

From US-27 in Lake Placid, head east on County Rd. 621 for about 2.7 miles. Then:
Turn left onto CR-619 / Highlands Lake Dr.
Go about 0.7 mile
Turn right onto Boat Ramp Road
Continue about 0.3 mile to the ramp
Park in the large parking lot on the North side
Bathroom facilities are open for public use
